WHAT WOULD I BE DOING AT THIS JOB? 

We are seeking an experienced individual to work full time (40 hours weekly Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm) as a receptionist in the administration department of our healthcare center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and skills in reception responsibilities. This is an onsite only position, and remote work will not be considered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Answer phones, screen and direct calls.
  2. Provide information to callers, take and relay messages.
  3. Deal with queries from the public and patients.
  4. Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
  5. Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness. 
  6. Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  7. Prepare correspondence and documents.
  8. Send, receive and sort mail and deliveries. Ensure mail and packages are routed to the appropriate departments.
  9. Monitor and maintain office equipment.

WHAT KIND OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid California Drivers License, clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle for travel between offices.

Ability to real, write and speak English and Spanish fluently.

Knowledge of reception, administrative and clerical procedures.

Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Ability to real, write and speak English and Spanish fluently.

The Salary Range for this position is $20.00 – $22.66 per hour, the exact starting rate of pay will be determined based on internal equity and experience. This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
