We are looking for a temporary Facilities Assistant to help our office move. This is a temporary position for up to 90 days, but may turn into a direct hire, depending on performance. This person must have the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, up to a max of 40 hours per week. (evening hours would be no later than 8pm). This position is non-exempt, and would be eligible for overtime.
High School Diploma, GED, or education and experience which satisfactorily demonstrates the ability to perform the job
Valid California Driver’s License
Demonstrated experience maintaining and cleaning office buildings and health facilities.
Knowledge of the use of chemicals and related cleaners and solvents routinely used for janitorial activities
Ability to establish work schedules, perform routine assignments, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills (e.g., emails, internet access, etc.).
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and equipment necessary to perform job related functions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
Job Type: Temp – to – hire
Salary: $17 .00 / hourly
All patients, visitors and employees are required to answer symptom/ exposure questions and take temperatures before entering the premises. Enhanced cleaning and infection protocol. All employees are required to be fully COVID vaccinated including booster (exemptions for medical or religious reasons are accepted).
