Liberty Program

About

The Liberty Program was founded in 1994. It continues to provide a way for individuals in our community looking to make a positive change by removing their anti-social tattoos.

The Liberty Program tattoo removal treatment sessions are available on a monthly basis at American Indian Health & Services during scheduled treatment sessions. Most people require at least six to eight sessions to complete treatment. 10 hours of community service at an approved non-profit organization must be completed before each treatment session.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Tattoos must be considered anti-social
  • Applicants must possess the appropriate motivation for participation.
  • Applicants must be a resident of Santa Barbara County.
  • Applicants must provide 10 community service hours prior to each treatment. Paperwork documenting community service must be brought to the treatment session.
