The Medical Assistant operates as a member of a care team coordinating and providing services within the scope of certification while maintaining patient flow to ensure continuous, coordinated, quality care in an orderly and timely manner.  Prepares the patient for the Physician or Mid Level Provider and assists with treatment/exam.  Assigned other duties such as laboratory procedures, maintains medical supplies and maintains treatment rooms and equipment.  Non-Exempt. Health Information Technician I
• Full Time clinic position
• Monday through Friday
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
The Health Information Technician operates as members of a care team and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the patient paper and electronic health care record by the preparation of scanning, indexing and quality control of clinic documents. Job functions to include the maintenance use of various applications, data access, storage retrieval, audits, State and Federal guidelines with HIPAA. Provides ongoing support for multiple departments and locations including physicians and occasional direct patient contact. Patient Services I 
• Location Santa Barbara, CA
• Full Time clinic position
• Monday through Friday
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
Patient Services staff operates as members of a care team coordinating and providing services while maintaining patient flow to ensure continuous, coordinated, quality care in an orderly and timely manner. Under supervision, applies regulations and procedures to determine eligibility for public assistance programs and referrals for social services; assists patients/families to enroll for benefit programs, performs related duties as required. Patient Services staff focus on four areas (1) assisting new patients register with AIH&S; (2) who are uninsured or underinsured to obtain benefits for the services they will be receiving at AIH&S; (3) manage incoming telephone calls for appointment scheduling, nursing, information, and other purposes; (4) verifying the patients eligibility status as an Urban Indian per Indian Health Services guidelines. Facilities Maintenance Technician 

This is a full-time position from 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining the administration, medical, dental, nutrition, and behavioral health buildings, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly and functional condition. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary.

General Contractor License desired.
