Dental

The Dental Clinic is staffed with 5 full time dentists, and a registered dental hygienist. The Dental Clinic offers preventative and restorative care for adults and children. We accept Medi-Cal and CenCal for adults and children.

Meet our Dental Providers:

Paymon Bahrami, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dentist, Endodontist

Dr. Bahrami received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis. He then completed his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific in 2009 and continued his training at the University of the Pacific in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.  Dr. Bahrami has worked in public health, academia and private practice before returning to the University of the Pacific to complete his masters and specialty training in Endodontics. He is pleased to serve the community at the American Indian Health & Services.

Jessica Berger, D.D.S.
Dentist

Dr. Berger received her B.S. in Biology from Montana State University Billings. She then received her D.M.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Berger is a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe from Rocky Boy, Montana. She is also a member of the Society of American Indian Dentists. Dr. Berger is very excited to be a member of the dental team and to serve the community at American Indian Health & Services.

Allison Chin, D.D.S.
Dentist

Dr. Chin received her B.S. in Biology from UCLA and then continued onto the University of the Pacific where she received her D.D.S.  After completing her dental degree, she received advanced training at the Lutheran Medical Center-Hawaii and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency.  Dr. Chin has always had a passion for serving her community and has spent most of her career working in Public Health.  Dr. Chin is honored to serve our community at the American Indian Health & Services.

Alice Huang, D.D.S.
Dental Director and Dentist

Dr. Huang received her B.S. in Biology from the University of the Pacific. Then she received her D.D.S. from the University of the Pacific. She has been a dental director at community clinics since 2006. She is excited to serve the community as a member of the dental staff at the American Indian Health & Services.

Zenitra Kumar, D.D.S.
Dentist

Dr. Kumar received her B.S. in Biology from California State University, Stanislaus. Then she received her D.D.S. from the University of the Pacific, in San Francisco. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Kumar has worked in both community clinics and private practice, in California and Texas.  She is eager to positively influence the health of her patients at American Indian Health & Services dental clinic.

Jun Park, D.D.S.
Dentist

Dr. Park received his B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA. He then received his D.D.S. degree from Northwestern University in 1999. He continued his training at the University of the Pacific in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. He is pleased to serve the community at the American Indian Health & Services.

Christina Varni, RDH, RDHAP, BSDH, BSHS
Registered Dental Hygienist

Christina has worked at American Indian Health & Services since October 2010. She received her B.S. in Health Science, Community Health from California State University Sacramento in 2007. She received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California in 2010. In addition to being a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), she also holds a second license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP).  She received her RDHAP training from the University of the Pacific Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco California in 2012.
